Converting A DeepDyve Account To Microsoft Azure
The first time a new Microsoft Azure user with an existing DeepDyve email account logs in with Azure credentials, the login will be blocked for security reasons. The account must first be converted to a Microsoft Azure account.
To convert an existing DeepDyve account to a Microsoft Azure account:
- Log in to DeepDyve, using your DeepDyve username and password
- NOTE: Your Microsoft Azure profile email field must match your DeepDyve email field. If they are different, please edit one or the other to match. Otherwise, the conversion will be blocked.
- In DeepDyve, Click on upper right dropdown menu next to your username, and select the first item, "Account Settings"
- On the left you will see an "Azure Status" section, under which a "Convert to Microsoft Azure" button is located.
- Click on the button. You will be redirected to Microsoft Azure, and if you are not already logged in, you will be prompted for your Azure credentials.
- After entering your Microsoft Azure credentials, the account conversion will start, and if successful, you will be redirected to your account settings page, where you will see a success message. The Azure Status will now display "Microsoft Azure User"
- If you do not see the “Convert to Microsoft Azure User” button, or if the conversion does not complete successfully, please contact your DeepDyve account manager.
